Joseph R. Locker, M.D.

Dr. Locker finished his residency in 2000 and started Central Florida Orthopedics in Ocala. Dr. Locker practices general orthopedics but has interests in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and knee, and most recently the Anterior Total Hip. For the last six years he has served on the Sports Advisory Committee, which oversees policy in athletics for the public schools of Marion County. Dr. Locker was also Chief of Surgery at Ocala Regional Medical Center from 2004-2006.
Dr. Locker has been team physician for Central Florida Community College and West Marion High School since his arrival in 2000. A two-sport Varsity letterman at Boston College, Dr. Locker takes pride in getting both the younger and the “mature” athlete back on the playing field.

After completing an Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Adult Knee Reconstruction Fellowship, Dr. Rogers joined Central Florida Orthopedics in 2006. Dr. Rogers’ practice encompasses general orthopedics with specialty interests in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and knee. In addition, Dr. Rogers has attained specialty training to perform the Anterior Approach to total hip replacement.
Dr. Rogers is currently a member of several national orthopedic and medical societies including the Marion County Medical Society. Dr. Rogers has been the team physician for North Marion High School since his arrival to Ocala.
